Autumn Favourites

Autumn Favourites

So I haven't done a blog post in ages! This is because goofy me lost the cord that connects from the phone to my laptop for photos, and  I've been really busy with study commitments. Thankfully I discovered a new way to transfer photos onto my laptop and my study flow has slowed down a bit so I can start my blog again, which I'm super excited about! I'd like to thank my friend Nicole for giving me inspiration to start up again, and I'll leave the link to her amazing blog at the end of this entry! :)

My first Autumn favourite is "Granny Takes a Dip" bath fizz from Lush. This is probably the best bath fizz I've ever used. It radiates different colours into your bath. I describe kind of like galaxy style colour scheme. It smells of lemon and other citrus fruits. It's truly a treat and I'm definitely going back into Lush to buy another one soon!

 Rimmel London Kate Moss 107

My second Autumn favourite is Rimmel London Kate Moss in 107. Since famous Youtuber and Blogger 'Zoella' always talks about about it, I decided to go out and purchase it! Since buying this lipstick, it's been my go to lip wear! It's matte so it lasts for a really long time, which is great for long days out shopping and big night outs in the town! It is a deep red colour, and I only need to put it on lightly. It also has a really sweet smell to it which is a plus! Another good thing about it is that it doesn't leave my lips feeling dry. In Australia the standard retail price it $11, which is a pretty fair price for a good quality lipstick.

My third Autumn favourite is cute fabric bags. Often when I go out shopping to places such as the Cotton On merchandise stores (Cotton On, Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Body. Factory, Rubi Shoes, Typo, and Supre) when I'm buying products from them, the sales person often asks if I'd like $2 bag to go towards a charity. Lately I have bee buying them because they are super cute, go towards a good cause, and they are super practical! I remember finding out that the Youtuber and Blogger, Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) often uses bags like these, she puts them in her hand bag and the fabric bags come in handy when you want to find a few items throughout the day, but you simply do not have enough hands carry them, and the fabric bags are always cute and pretty! I now hardly ever leave the house without placing one of these in my hand bags, and they always come in handy!

My fourth Autumn favourite is Garnier BB cream! It's tinted moisturiser, and it's super gentle on the skin but great when you still want a bit of coverage. You only need squeeze out a little bit of the BB cream because it spreads out really well and evenly so the product itself lasts for a while there for it's fantastic value for money!

My fifth Autumn favourite are the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula. I got the three samples shown in the photo is a few of my Bella Box subscriptions. They all leave your skin feeling lovely and soft and smells amazing, cocoa-chocolatey kinda smell, but it isn't over powering which I find to be a good thing! The day cream has SPF15 and it a good base to apply foundation or BB cream on. The night cream helps hydrate your skin over night, and the cleanser and make up remover does exactly what the name says and is made to be applied before the day or night cream is put on. The actual product it self is a bit on the pricey side, but I'm pretty certain that soon I'll treat myself to a big tube of cocoa butter goodness!

My sixth Autumn favourite is the 'Rose & Hillcrest' Victoria Rose Bed Wand. I actually started using this when I was a little kid and for a while I stopped using it for no particular reason, and in the Autumn months I began using it again. A bed wand is basically a cylinder shaped box filled with scented powder you put under your quilt where you are going to sleep. It's a very nice touch to make your bed that extra bit more comfy! The bed wand that I have right now is like a rose-gardenia scent which is absolutely lovely!
My seventh and eighth Autumn favourite is the Pointless Blog by Alfie Deyes and Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. Even though these books are completely different I thought I'd put them in the same picture and Alfie and Zoe are the well known cute couple of Youtube! The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes is a book full of interactive activities with special context by Alfie, the way you view the context is you download an app that goes with the book and you scan the book when it tells you to scan, pretty nifty! It's loads of fun and is a great go to thing when you are feeling a  bit bored! Since I purchased this book Alfie came out with a second book of similar context so soon I'm gonna' go out and buy it! Now for Zoe's book 'Girl Online', I won't give too much away in case you are planning on reading it soon but it's basically about a young girl with anxiety and the book tells follows her on her teenage girl life journey In my opinion it's a very cute book and worth a read! These two books are both very enjoyable, and if you are obsessed with YouTube like I am you'll know what a big deal that these regular people have books out in stores! It's amazing!

This brings me to the end of my Autumn favourites! Thank you for reading it and I hope you enjoyed!

February Favourites!

February Favourites

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you my February favourites. I know it's a bit late but I had to catch up with a few other things, so if you're interested, keep reading!

My first February favourite is Laqa and Co Lip Balm. I got this product in my January Bella Box but I didn't start using it a lot until February. This product is amazing, it's peppermint flavoured which is absolutely lovely, it keeps my lips feeling nice and soft, and the colouring is subtle which is great for simple make up looks, or when when I do heavier eye make up and I want subtle lips so it's not too much. Love love love this product! :)

My second February favourite is the Juicy Couture perfume set. I got this for Christmas but in February I was using  a lot for night outs and just in general day use because it smells amazing! It smells sweet and fruity, with a tiny hint of floral. It lasts a long time so it's perfect for when I'm out the house for a long time, I don't usually take perfumes out with me because I'm scared it might break in my bag, so it's great the lovely smell lasts for a while. I find that I only need two or three sprays because it's strong, and that's always a thumbs up because that means the bottle lasts longer. It came with a hand cream and a shower gel, they both smell amazing just like the perfume, and they both leave my skin feeling all nice and soft. The mini perfume bottle that came with it is adorable,  and it's great for those who like to bring perfume with them when they go out! :)
My third February favourite is Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner for long hair. The title doesn't lie, it actually works well with long hair, I have long hair and I only need a little bit of it and it suds up and covers all of my hair. It smells nice and fresh, no particular smell, but it definitely makes my hair smell fresh and clean. It also gives my hair a lovely shine, and t makes it feel so soft which I absolutely love! It's not too expensive either which rather lovely!
My fourth and final February favourite are these boots. I bought these from Kmart for $25 which I think is a pretty good price for boots! I love these sooo much, they go with everything I wear, and they are super comfy. They slip on really easily, they are easy to take off, and they have a funky zip on the side, and have shoe lace on them which you only need to do once and they never come undone. These boots will be my go o Autumn/winter shoe wear, I absolutely love them!
Just a few translations incase you aren't from Australia
Bella Box - A subscription that comes delivered to my house once a month, it's a box hat contains a few beauty/life style items, it's super cute and I love it!

Kmart - I'm not s sure if there's kmarts in other places, so it's a retail store that sells everything and it's cheap and everyone loves it, kinda' like Walmart

This brings us to the end of my February Favourites blog post! I really hope you enjoyed reading it and give me a follow for future posts! :)

Three prettiful outfits!

Hiii! I've decided to do a little blog post on three outfits that I've worn the past fortnight that I'm proud of! :)

Outfit number one! First I'll start out with make up! My make up of that day included Elf Primer, Max Factor Foundation, ModelsPrefer blush and contour, DB eyeliner, Cover Girl Lash-blast-length mascara, Laqa and Co 'bees knees' tinted lip balm, and  clear Lip Smacker lip gloss. A nice simple but pretty look, perfect for when I go to my study place! Now onto the outfit! Starting off with my shirt, it has that kinda urban but girly look to it which is a look I've been loving lately! I like how it's slightly baggy so it's nice to wear it hot weather, the print says "90's Kid" which I think is pretty cute, even though I'm not 100 percent sure if I classify as a 90's kid hehe! I got the shirt from Ice for around $10. My dark grey denim shorts peaking from the bottom of the shirt there was from Target for around $10, they're comfy and you can move around in them pretty well which is always a plus! Last but not least the purple glittery jellies are from Rubi shoes for $5, a cute little summery shoe trend which also goes with the theme of the shirt! :)
Outfit number two! This outfit is just a simple outfit I put together in the morning before school, but I still reckon it looks pretty funky! My hair bow was actually a birthday gift from a friend but you can get them from lots of different jewellery and accessory stores! I find cute hair bows is a great way to jazz up a simple hair do! You can't really see it because goofy ol' me put my phone over it, but my gold necklace was from the accessory section at Valley Girl, it literally goes with everything so it's a big favourite of mine! The plain black tank top was from Temt for $5, having a few plain coloured tank tops are always a good idea, they're a great thing to wear when you think you have nothing to wear! My high waisted shorts were from Paper Scissors and they were around $10, these shorts go with all my shorts so they're another big favourite of mine! The cute and slightly dorky and quirky jelly shoes were from Rubi Shoes for $5, jelly shoes bring us all back to our childhood, and they comfy and perfect for a hot summers day! All around a pretty lovely outfit! :)
Outfit number three! This is what a wore to a night out in the town a few weeks back. As I said previously I've been really loving this urban floral look that's been around lately and I feel pretty confident in a way that I think I can pull it off (hopefully!). The T-shirt styled shirt is from ICE, it was $15, it's stylish, cute, and a little quirky, and it's comfortable and light, which means it's perfect to wear on a hot night. My gold glittery bag was from Colette (it was a Christmas gift so I'm not sure how much it costs) the jewellery was also from Colette and my suede black heels are from Kmart for $20. :)

There they all are! Hope you enjoyed having a look at my outfits! Keep an eye out on my blog for more life style, beauty and fashion related stuff coming up soon! :)

January Favourites!

It's time for me to my first 'favourites' blog entry! This year I'll be doing a favourites blog entry for each month! It will include five of my favourite beauty, decor, technology or even foods from the month! :)

Here's a snazzy picture of my five January favourite's! Keep on reading if you want to read about them! (which really does mean keep reading please because that would make me a happy blogger!)

My first favourite this month is dry conditioner by Girlz Only. I got this product for Christmas and I love it! It's great to use between washes when you don't quite need to wash your hair but you still wanting it feeling fresh and shiny!

The next January favourite of mine is the Sunsilk Daring Volume hair spray. As it says in the name of the product it adds a bit of volume to your hair. This is great to use when you want your hair looking alive and bouncy and is great for a doing the day outing and a night out in the town! It also smells really good, it smells somewhat summery and fresh.

Another favourite of mine this month is the Choose Chi Chi perfume in the scent 'marshmellow'. I got this for Christmas from my sister and it smells amazing! It's very sweet, it smells like those candy musk sticks but better! I actually got my sister the same perfume but a different scent which was the Persimmon scent. This one also smells incredible, it also smells quite sweet but has a slight more richer smell. Choose Chi Chi also has a wide range of different amazing scents! These perfumes look pretty, smell amazing, and they last for a long time which is everything you want in a perfume! You and purchase these in the beauty section at Target.

Elf primer has definitely been a January favourite of mine! It's well priced, ethical and does the job well! I didn't start using primer until this month, I was keen to try it because different Youtubers always recommend it because it makes your make-up last longer. I have also heard great things about Elf products from friends and Youtubers so when I saw it on the shelf at Kmart I had to buy it to give it a go! I would highly recommend this primer! It makes your skin feel soft and smooth, and it makes your make-up last all day and all night! It's amazing! Love love love Elf primer! :)

Now for a foundation! Max Factor Smooth Effect foundation is my latest favourite foundation wise! Reasons for this being is because it goes on nice and smooth, it spreads out evenly around your face, and it's full coverage so you only need one layer at you are set to go! This was on sale at the time but I would get it again even if it wasn't on sale because I love it so much!
I hope you enjoyed reading about my January favourites! Have you tried any of these products Let me know what you think of them in the comments! Feel free to also tell me about some of your January favourites! Thanks for reading!

Lunch with friends, pink moscato, and an outfit of the day!

Today my two friends and I decided to meet up and have a scrumptious pub lunch! We went to The Elephant which is down Cinema Place which runs of Rundle Street in Adelaide. It's a nice chilled out place to go for a special treat at lunch time. :)

Chicken burger with bacon, lettuce, aioli and cheese with a side of fries hit the spot perfectly! This was a very filling meal and I definitely got bang for my buck! :D - (sorry about the blurriness of the photo, my phone was being a bit silly!)

I'm so fancy! Decided to jazz it up with a glass of pink moscato! Good choice indeed because I enjoyed every sip!

Out fit of the day! Today I went for a slightly different but girly look! I think it looks pretty cute and I like it because it has a touch of my own style! My gold chain necklace is from Collette and was $3,  My floral 60 shirt is from Supre and it was $10, my skirt is from Ally Fashion and was $5 and my boots are from Kmart and they were $25! All together that's $43 which I think is a pretty good price for a funky and cute outfit! :D

Thank you for reading today's blog! Hope you enjoyed!

Pineapple sodas and Spicy fries!

Yesterday afternoon my friend Nicole and I spontaneously decided to meet up in the city to have a delicious soda and scrumptious fries from one of our favourite restaurants 'Two Bit Villains'
Two Bit Villains is a vintage style eatery and soda bar. It's famous for its delicious hand crafted sodas and its well priced selection of food. Everything on the menu is gluten free, vegetarian and/or vegan so it suits everyone's dietary requirements and it's not overly expensive which is a huge thumbs up for me!

Yesterday I decided to try the spicy fries (they also sell regular fries which are amazing, but I wanted to jazz things up a bit). The spicy fries in my opinion aren't too spicy, but they definitely have a spicy zing too them! My friend Nicole got the regular fries, and tried one of my spicy fries and said it was very spicy, so I guess it depends on a persons palette! The servings you get at Two Bit Villains are very generous, the fries are $5 and you get a huge serving, with tomato ketchup and mustard. I also had the pineapple flavored soda and it was delicious! Hit the TBV soda craving perfectly! Nicole had the strawberry flavor, she seemed to enjoy it very much! I've also had the strawberry flavor and I can safely say it's amazing!

After we had our delicious soda and fries, we decided to take some photos of ourselves against a wall because you know... we're cool. We both had a bit of a laugh trying to sit up on the ledge and staying still for the photo. Eventually we got a few good shots !! Click this link to have a look at Nicole's blog! http://nicole-emily-heath.blogspot.com.au/

Just in case anyone is wondering here's my ootd info! (I'm the one wearing the glasses)

Gold chain necklace - Collette - $3
Palm tree one piece - Ice - $15
Denim daisy shorts - Paper Scissors - $7
Jelly Shoes - Rubi Shoes - $5
I can't quite remember where the belt is from, I got it a few years ago!

Thank you for reading my first proper blog post! I hope you enjoyed!
